Summary

This study tested whether adding formal hypnosis to standard care could better help patients manage anxiety and pain during a specific part of internal radiation therapy (brachytherapy). It involved 68 adult cancer patients. Researchers compared patients who received standard care to those who also received a hypnosis session, measuring their anxiety and pain levels during the procedure.
