Summary
This study looked at whether formal hypnosis can help reduce anxiety and pain in cancer patients undergoing a procedure called brachytherapy. 68 adults were randomly assigned to receive either standard care or standard care plus hypnosis. The goal was to see if adding hypnosis improves patient comfort during the procedure.
