Summary
This study looks at whether high uric acid levels can help predict if kidney disease gets worse in people with prediabetes. Researchers will follow 150 adults with prediabetes and early-stage kidney disease for changes in kidney function. The goal is to find a simple way to identify those at higher risk, so doctors can intervene earlier.
