First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 38 times
Summary
This study tested whether warm baths (hyperthermic baths) can safely reduce seizures in children with CDKL5 deficiency, a rare genetic disorder causing hard-to-control seizures. Eight children aged 6 months to 6 years took warm baths as an add-on to their usual seizure medicines. Researchers measured changes in seizure frequency and safety over the treatment period.
