Summary

This study looked at whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber) can improve physical fitness in healthy athletes. 59 athletes aged 18-25 or 40-50 who exercise regularly took part. Researchers measured changes in aerobic and anaerobic fitness over 4 months to see if the therapy provides a performance boost.
