Summary

This study tested whether breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) can reduce pain and improve quality of life for people with fibromyalgia, compared to usual medications. About 76 adults with fibromyalgia and a history of physical trauma took part. The goal was to see if this non-drug approach offers better symptom relief.
