First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study aimed to find the best number of hyperbaric oxygen treatments for people with carbon monoxide poisoning. Researchers planned to compare one treatment versus three treatments to see which better prevents long-term brain problems like memory loss or mood changes. Only 2 people joined before the study was stopped early, so no clear conclusions were reached.
