NCT ID NCT07190534

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two commonly used medications works better for treating frontal fibrosing alopecia, a type of permanent scarring hair loss that mostly affects women. Fifty adult patients will choose to take either hydroxychloroquine or methotrexate and be followed for 48 weeks during their regular doctor visits. Researchers will measure changes in hair loss severity and quality of life to determine which treatment provides better results in everyday clinical practice.
