First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether doing exercises in water (hydrotherapy) can help people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy feel less pain, have better balance, and enjoy a higher quality of life. About 34 adults aged 40–65 with type 2 diabetes for over 10 years and stable blood sugar will take part. They will be randomly assigned to either water-based or land-based exercise sessions, and researchers will measure changes in pain, sensation, balance, and daily activities.
