Scientists test tiny gas bubbles in human veins for first time
NCT ID NCT07357909
Summary
This is the first-ever study to test whether hydrogen-oxygen ultrafine bubbles can be safely given through an IV to people. Researchers will enroll about 50 healthy adults to receive two infusions one week apart, carefully monitoring for any side effects. The goal is to determine safe dose ranges for future research, not to treat or prevent any disease.
