Summary

This study tested whether inhaling hydrogen gas during and after back surgery could help reduce pain and inflammation. It involved 37 adults having surgery for a herniated disc. Researchers measured patients' pain levels and specific markers of inflammation in the blood to see if the hydrogen gas made a difference.
