New brain valve shows promise for fluid control

Summary

This study is checking how well and how safely an adjustable valve device works for people with hydrocephalus, a condition where fluid builds up in the brain. The device helps drain excess fluid. Researchers will follow 126 patients for up to 5 years to see if the valve needs replacing and monitor any complications.
