Doctors test quicker radiation blitz for throat cancer

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new, shorter radiation schedule called HYDRA for people with laryngeal (voice box) cancer. The main goal is to find the highest dose that is safe and tolerable for patients. Participants will receive the targeted radiation in just five sessions over about two weeks, and their health will be closely monitored for up to ten years.
