Summary
This study tested a new hybrid rehabilitation program for people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), a condition that causes leg pain and makes walking difficult. The program combines a few on-site supervised sessions with a home-based walking plan to make it easier for patients to participate. Researchers measured improvements in walking distance, quality of life, and heart health after 3 months in 26 participants.
