Summary
This study tested a hybrid closed-loop insulin system for adults with type 1 diabetes. The system combines a Tandem insulin pump with a Dexcom G6 continuous glucose monitor to automatically adjust background insulin. The goal was to see if this technology improves blood sugar control and quality of life for people in Scotland.
