NCT ID NCT07478341
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a personalized hybrid breastfeeding education program—combining face-to-face sessions with online materials—given in late pregnancy can improve mother-baby bonding and breastfeeding success in first-time mothers. Sixty-four women will be randomly assigned to either the special education or standard care. Researchers will measure bonding and breastfeeding confidence using questionnaires.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Individualized hybrid breastfeeding education (face-to-face sessions plus online materials and support)
What this could lead to
If successful, this approach could help first-time mothers feel more confident and bond better with their babies, leading to longer and more successful breastfeeding.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 64 participants, so results may not apply to all mothers. The outcomes rely on self-reported surveys, which can be biased.
