New dressing tested to close stubborn leg wounds

NCT ID NCT07335861

Summary

This study is testing if a special wound dressing called Hyalomatrix helps heal chronic leg ulcers caused by poor circulation when added to standard care. About 122 adults with a leg ulcer that hasn't healed well in the past month will be enrolled. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care alone or standard care plus the Hyalomatrix dressing to see which leads to more complete wound healing over 12 weeks.
