First patients test promising new weapon against tough gynecologic cancers

Summary
This is the first-ever study in people of a new targeted cancer drug called HWK-016. It aims to find a safe and effective dose for adults with advanced ovarian or endometrial cancer that has spread or come back. The study will test the drug alone and in combination with another cancer medicine to see if it can help control these difficult-to-treat cancers.
