First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested two ways to help COPD patients who have trouble breathing due to high carbon dioxide levels. One method uses a high-speed nasal device, and the other uses a mask with a machine. The goal was to see if the nasal device works as well as the mask. The study included 66 adults and measured changes in blood gas levels after one hour of treatment.
