Summary
This Mayo Clinic study aims to learn more about how the trillions of microbes living in and on our bodies are connected to our health. Researchers will collect samples from 5,000 adults to compare the microbes of healthy people with those who have various diseases. The goal is to gather knowledge, not to test a treatment or provide direct medical benefit to participants.
