Summary
This study tested a new long-acting painkiller called HTX-011 in 412 people having bunion surgery. The goal was to see if it could control pain better than a standard numbing drug or a placebo, and reduce the need for opioid pain pills. Participants received a single injection into the surgical site, and pain levels were tracked for 72 hours.
