New Pain-Fighting dressing tested for severe skin condition surgery
NCT ID NCT07316192
Summary
This study compares two wound dressings used after surgery for hidradenitis suppurativa, a painful skin condition. Researchers want to see if a newer dressing with silver and a pain reliever helps patients heal faster, with less pain and fewer infections, compared to the standard dressing. The study will follow 10 new patients getting the newer dressing and compare their results to past patients who received the standard care.
