First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026

Summary

This study looked at how heart rate variability (HRV) — the time between heartbeats — relates to exercise performance and training load in everyday life. Researchers tracked 49 healthy adults who exercise 2-4 times a week using a Whoop wristband. The goal was to see if personalized training advice based on HRV is practical and helpful.
