First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested a portable AI device called aiTriage that analyzes heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels in just 5 minutes. It gives ER doctors a real-time risk score for chest pain patients, helping decide who needs immediate care. Over 1,100 adults with chest pain took part. The goal was to see if this quick test can safely reduce hospital admissions and wait times compared to standard methods.
