Ovarian cancer trial seeks best test for targeted treatment
NCT ID NCT06152731
First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at 88 women with advanced ovarian cancer to compare two tests that check for DNA repair problems (HRD status). The goal is to see if the test results match how well the cancer responds to standard platinum chemotherapy. If a test shows a repair problem, a PARP inhibitor may be offered. The study does not test a new treatment, but aims to improve how doctors choose treatments.
