Can a vaccine stop precancerous lesions from returning?

NCT ID NCT07431502

Summary

This study aims to find out if the 9-valent HPV vaccine can prevent high-grade, precancerous lesions from coming back after they have been treated. It will involve about 984 patients aged 18-55 who have recently been treated for these HPV-related lesions. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real vaccine or a placebo shot to compare the recurrence rates.
