Can a vaccine stop HPV spread in Already-Infected women?

NCT ID NCT07303751

Summary

This study is testing if giving one dose of the HPV vaccine to women who already have a high-risk HPV infection can reduce the virus's ability to spread to others. Researchers will compare 80 young women who receive the vaccine to those who do not, checking their cervical samples after 6 months. The goal is to see if vaccine-induced antibodies can neutralize the virus, making it less infectious even if it's still present.
