First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether one dose of the HPV vaccine can make the virus less contagious in women who already have a high-risk HPV infection. Researchers will compare cervical samples from vaccinated and unvaccinated women to see if the vaccine reduces the virus's ability to infect others. The trial involves 80 HIV-negative women aged 18-29 who have not been vaccinated before.
