Study tests culturally targeted HPV vaccine messages for african american parents

NCT ID NCT07301905

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether messages designed specifically for African American parents can help them feel more ready to give their daughters the HPV vaccine. About 265 parents with daughters aged 8-17 who haven't had the vaccine yet will take part. Some parents will see culturally targeted messages, others will see general educational messages, and some will see no messages at all. The goal is to see if the tailored approach increases vaccination intentions and actual vaccination rates.
