First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether messages designed specifically for African American parents can make them more willing to get the HPV vaccine for their daughters (ages 8-17). About 265 parents will either see culturally targeted messages, general educational messages, or no messages. Researchers will then measure their attitudes, intentions, and whether they actually start the vaccine series six months later.
