First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether emergency departments can help adults aged 18-45 who haven't completed the HPV vaccine series get vaccinated. Researchers enrolled 34 participants and offered the vaccine during their ED visit, with follow-up doses at 2 and 6 months. The goal was to see if the ED is a practical place to reach high-risk, under-immunized adults and improve HPV prevention.
