Research sheds light on hidden HPV risk in key population
NCT ID NCT04950101
Summary
This study aimed to understand how common high-risk anal HPV infections and abnormal cell changes are in men who have sex with men (MSM). Researchers compared two groups: HIV-negative men using medication to prevent HIV (PrEP) and men already living with HIV. They collected information through questionnaires and analyzed cell samples from participants to measure infection rates.
