Home HPV test trial aims to protect vulnerable women from cancer
NCT ID NCT06302725
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, at-home vaginal swab can reliably detect HPV, the virus that causes cervical cancer, in women with chronic immune system diseases. It aims to see if this easier method can help these higher-risk women get screened more regularly. The study will also track how often the virus clears up on its own and what factors are linked to persistent infection.
