At-Home test could help catch cancer risk in HIV community
NCT ID NCT06507917
Summary
This study is testing whether a self-swab test for HPV, a virus linked to anal cancer, works as well as a swab done by a doctor. It involves 398 adults over 30 living with HIV on Reunion Island. The goal is to see if a simpler, at-home screening method is accurate and acceptable, which could help more people get checked for this cancer risk.
