New gel tested to heal HPV-Related cervical damage

NCT ID NCT04210336

Summary

This study tested whether a gel called Papilocare could help repair cervical lesions caused by HPV, compared to a standard lactic acid gel. It involved 200 women aged 30-65 with low-grade cervical cell changes. Participants applied one of the gels daily for 3-6 months to see if it could clear the lesions and the HPV virus.
