Summary
This study tested whether offering HIV prevention medication (PrEP) together with gender-affirming hormone therapy and peer support helps transgender women start and stick with PrEP. 304 participants were randomly assigned to get the combined services right away or after a 6-month delay. The goal was to see if this integrated approach is acceptable and feasible, and whether it improves PrEP use.
