New study seeks clues in lungs and blood to understand pulmonary fibrosis
NCT ID NCT07373288
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study aims to learn more about pulmonary fibrosis by measuring a protein called HOXB7 and other related markers in lung tissue and blood samples. Researchers will compare different biopsy methods and include a control group of people without fibrosis. The goal is to find better ways to track the disease, not to test a new treatment.
