First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at how changes in the way your teeth come together (your bite) might affect your balance and walking. Researchers will use dental splints or dentures to temporarily change the bite height in healthy adults aged 30-45 and denture wearers aged 50-65. They will measure body movement and muscle activity to see if bite changes cause balance shifts. This is an observational study, not a treatment.
