Young cancer patients speak up: how they want a say in their own care

NCT ID NCT07035418

Summary

This study aims to understand how teens and young adults with cancer prefer to be involved in making decisions about their treatment. Researchers will ask 100 participants aged 15-29 to share their preferences through surveys and interviews about hypothetical medical scenarios. The goal is to learn what factors influence whether a young person wants to take an active, collaborative, or more passive role when choosing cancer care.
