Mind over mountain: can your thoughts make running feel easier?
NCT ID NCT05389111
Summary
This study explored how people's internal thoughts and self-talk affect how difficult trail running feels. Researchers worked with 76 trail runners to see if training their mental approach could change their perception of effort during exercise. The goal was to understand the connection between mind and body during demanding physical activity to help runners train more effectively.
