Scientists take bone samples to unlock osteoporosis Drug's secrets

NCT ID NCT05688969

Summary

This study aims to understand how the osteoporosis medication romosozumab affects bone-building cells over time. Researchers will take small bone samples from 16 postmenopausal women before they start the drug, and then again either a few weeks or several months later. The goal is to see how the drug's effects on bone cells change during early and later stages of treatment, which could help doctors use it more effectively.
