Scientists shine a light on how your bedroom glow affects your brain
NCT ID NCT02858765
Summary
This study aimed to understand how different types of light exposure affect sleep quality and how alert and focused people feel the next day. Researchers monitored 92 healthy young adults, measuring their brain waves during sleep and testing their attention and thinking skills after waking up. The goal was to gather basic knowledge about light's role in our sleep-wake cycles, not to test a treatment.
