First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether taking multiple doses of the drug Iclepertin affects how the body processes a common birth control pill (Microgynon) in healthy women aged 18-35. Nineteen participants took the birth control pill with and without Iclepertin, and researchers measured drug levels in the blood. The goal was to see if Iclepertin changes the amount of birth control hormones in the body, which could affect how well the pill works.
