Summary
This study aims to understand how gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) changes muscle function and metabolism in transgender and gender-diverse adults. Researchers will enroll 24 participants, some on GAHT and some not, to measure changes through exercise tests, body scans, and a small muscle sample. The goal is to gather detailed knowledge about the body's response to hormone therapy to inform future care.
