Summary
This study aims to understand how gender-affirming hormone therapy affects the immune system in transgender individuals. Researchers will collect blood samples from 500 people before and during hormone therapy to measure changes in immune cells and responses. The goal is to learn how sex hormones influence immune function and disease risk, which could lead to better health counseling for transgender patients.
