Virtual reality reveals what moms really feed their kids after a health warning

NCT ID NCT01087346

Summary

This study aimed to understand if giving parents health information changes the food choices they make for their children. Over 1,100 parents used a virtual reality buffet to pick a lunch for their child before and after watching a health presentation. Researchers measured if the number of calories selected changed, to learn more about the link between health awareness and real-world behavior.
