Your genes may decide how well you absorb vitamins
NCT ID NCT02100774
Summary
This study aimed to understand why people absorb vitamins differently. Researchers gave 45 healthy men specific test meals and supplements containing vitamins D, E, and carotenoids. They then checked their blood to see if small genetic differences could explain why some men absorbed these nutrients better than others.
