Summary
This study aims to understand why gastric bypass surgery helps control blood sugar and promotes weight loss. Researchers will measure gut hormones in 80 people, including those who have had the surgery and some who experience low blood sugar afterward. The goal is to learn how the surgery changes the body's natural processes to improve health.
