Scientists test if harder workouts give your brain a better boost
NCT ID NCT07146490
Summary
This study aimed to understand how the intensity of a workout changes chemicals in your blood linked to brain health, your speed on a thinking test, and how you feel. Researchers had 12 healthy young adults complete three different types of running sessions: short hard sprints, longer hard intervals, and a steady, easier run. They measured blood markers and thinking skills before and after each session to compare the effects.
