Scientists create first molecular map of exercise
NCT ID NCT03960827
Summary
This study aimed to create a detailed map of how exercise changes the body at a molecular level. Over 1,800 adults, including both sedentary and highly active people, were assigned to endurance training, resistance training, or a no-exercise group for 12 weeks. Researchers collected blood and tissue samples to analyze thousands of biological molecules, building a public database to help future scientists understand why exercise is good for our health.
