Could a glass of water improve your dental healing?
NCT ID NCT07506252
First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether drinking more water could help dentists create more of a natural healing material from a patient's own blood. The material, called platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), is used to help gums and bone heal after dental implant surgery. Researchers measured how much PRF they could make from the blood of 26 healthy adults to see if their hydration level made a difference.
